Vintage Reela Radio Repurposed as a Bluetooth Speaker

This compact transistor radio was originally produced by Reela, a French manufacturer active in the mid-20th century. The model shown is from around 1958–1962, known for its pastel blue-and-cream cabinet, angular grille design, and the row of mechanical selector keys across the top. The original carry handle and knobs are preserved, giving it the authentic wear and character typical of Reela’s portable sets.

The radio measures approximately 25 cm wide, 18 cm tall, and 8 cm deep. Inside, it has been carefully updated with a modern Bluetooth amplifier, while the exterior remains true to its era. It now runs on 12V power, making it easy to use in a variety of settings.

A classic mid-century piece with a clean, friendly presence, now ready for everyday listening without losing its original charm.
