1950s Peugeot Coffee Grinder Bluetooth Speaker

100.00

This is a vintage Peugeot coffee grinder that I’ve repurposed into a small Bluetooth speaker. The grinder itself is an original French piece, most likely made between the 1930s and 1950s, based on the wooden box construction, dovetail joints, metal crank, and the Peugeot lion badge on the front. It would originally have been used as a manual burr coffee grinder.

I’ve kept both the exterior and the internal grinder mechanism in place, so the original parts are still retained inside. The wood, drawer, crank handle, and aged finish are all original, showing natural wear and patina from years of use.

The electronics have been integrated around the existing mechanism, rather than removing it, to preserve as much of the original structure as possible. It now includes a 2-inch speaker and a Bluetooth audio module, allowing it to connect wirelessly to a phone or other device. Power is supplied through a 12V DC input mounted on the side.

The aim was simply to give the piece a new function while respecting its history, so it still looks and feels like an old Peugeot grinder, but can now be used as a compact Bluetooth speaker.
