1930s Vintage French Garden Sprayer Lamp
€120.00
This piece began life as a Muratori high-pressure garden sprayer, made in Paris in the early 20th century for use in gardens and orchards. Constructed from copper and brass, it was built as a durable working tool, and the original maker’s label and stamped operating instructions are still clearly visible on the body.
The sprayer has been carefully repurposed into a table lamp while keeping its original form and details intact. The pump handle and valve assembly remain in place, and the copper surface shows an honest patina developed over time, with small marks that reflect its working past.
A single bulb sits above the sprayer, casting a warm light that highlights the metal and engraved text without overpowering it. A variety of bulbs can be chosen from.
The lamp is wired for modern use with an inline switch, keeping the overall look simple and unobtrusive.
Once a practical piece of garden equipment, it now works as a quietly distinctive lamp, carrying its history with it rather than hiding it.
